The prices of all our Trips include rental of all equipment and mountain bikes and there are no extra costs to pay apart from any extra meals and beverages other than the food and drink we supply.
If you would like to go at it on your own you can hire mountain bikes equipped for the trails or for touring on the road from our Mango House shop at the Khaosan Road / Banglamphu area of Bangkok.
Renting a bicycle in Bangkok.
Most of our customers who rent bikes from us are people doing tours of Thailand, Laos or Cambodia. Renting a bike for us is an easy option for the tourist doing a bicycle tour bikes can be picked up and dropped off in Bangkok with no hastles transporting on planes etc.
Transporting your bike.
Alot of our customers like to get the train from Bangkok to the north of Thailand and unlike most western countries transporting your bike on local transport in Thailand is not a problem. The bikes can be put on the train or bus with no problems.
Transporting your bike around cities.
If you feel the traffic is a bit dangerous in big cities such as Bangkok then there is another way other than riding. The bikes can easily be mounted on the back of a tuk tuk and transported. There is a fleet of Tuk Tuks out side our shop who will be able to transport you and your bikes for around 200 Baht.

1 Day - 300 Thai baht + Valid Passport
2 to 7 Days - 280 Thai baht + 5,000 Baht Deposit per bike + copy of passport
8 to 15 Days - 270 Thai baht + 5,000 Baht Deposit per bike + copy of passport
16 to 25 Days - 260 Thai baht + 5,000 Baht Deposit per bike + copy of passport
26 days or more 250 Thai baht + 5,000 Baht Deposit per bike + copy of passport

(all bikes include a helmet if needed but not equipment such as pumps repair kits etc as most people prefer to bring thier own)
Rear bicycle racks and panniers (sizes approx Size (cm): 39 x 38 x 43) are available for an extra 20 baht per day.
We have a mix of mountain bikes (trek mainly) avialible small Medium and Large frames.
Please specify before hand wether you would like your mountain bike equipped for the road or a long journey and we will fit your bike with a set of road tyres . This option is only available for 2+ Days.
Our Mountain Bikes for Hire.
All our bicycles are maintained and cleaned by experienced bike mechanics.
All our bicycles will be set up to your specifications and transported to our shop on Khao san road ready for pick up.
We tend to use TREK mountain bikes because they are high quality, durable pieces of equipment. However we may use Gary Fisher or Merida bikes on occasion.
We like the versatility and durability of the mountain bike as it has been designed to cope with different types of terrain and riding.
Asian roads can often be broken or potholed, and there are usually unsurfaced sections included, so mountain bikes are the most suitable. They also have the range of gears to cope with the hills.
Booking a bike for rent.
If you would like to book a bike for rent for more than 2 days a deposit of 5000 Thai baht is requiered the deposit can be paid for online using Thai epay or paypal.

Equipment.
We have a few basic bicycle spares which can be perchased in our shop such as innertubes, pumps, repair kits, chains, cables etc. If you need any bicycle spares that we don't we can order them for you from our shop.
