The E-Mail sent by Full Tilt Poker points players to a new area on the website titled “Stand Up For Poker” in which players are asked to contact their specific representatives either through e-mails, through Twitter, or by phoning their offices.
Full Tilt Poker Review is inviting its players to throw their support behind H.R. 2267, Regulation, Consumer Protection, the Internet Gambling, and Enforcement Act, which was initiated by Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank in 2009.
H.R. 2267 would authorize and regulate online gaming, while two companion bills would rollback UIGEA legislation, and implement taxation on the online poker sites licensed in the US respectively. The bill is still in the committee process and will probably go through several rewrites and changes before it is voted on by Congress.
